In4All expands program staff

Join us in welcoming three new staff members to the In4All team! Our first ever Impact Coordinator, Dyllan Elizabeth, will help In4All tell the story of our programming and impact in the community. Esther Kwak joins us as the westside program manager to build and deepen connections between teachers and volunteers in the Beaverton, Hillsboro and Tigard-Tualatin communities. And Joshua Phillips is our new eastside program manager who will help us expand our presence in Portland, Clackamas and East County.

We are very lucky to have these three join our team early in the year while our programs are in full swing. Each has shared a little bit about themselves so you can get to know them.

Dyllan Elizabeth Cabiles, Impact Coordinator

Dyllan Elizabeth Cabiles

“My name is Dyllan Elizabeth. I am a multi-disciplinary creative who is passionate about empowering underserved communities and individuals through collaboration and problem-solving.

Over the last five years, I have honed my skills through branding, marketing, graphic design, and website creation; with these skills, I create inclusive stories that bring people together. As a multi-racial woman in tech, my goal is to help bridge gaps within and between communities in order to support a future of limitless possibilities.

I'm extremely excited to be In4All's first Impact Coordinator. I'm looking forward to joining a team of passionate people but most of all I'm excited to support the impact of programming and implement creative ways for In4All to tell its best story!”

Esther Kwak, Program Manager

Esther Kwak

“I am a music educator who has served the Oregon public schools for the last five years, from hosting clarinet bootcamps and masterclasses, designing and implementing a "Music in SPED" program for students with special needs, and managing a Band and Music program independently. I have worked with students of all ages, from the age of six to senior citizens, with most experience working with elementary and middle schoolers.

I also bring previous experience in nonprofit development, where I have raised in-kind donations and researched for and edited grants. In and outside of work I value cultural diversity, compassion, and equity, and strive to reform systems that perpetuate oppression and injustice in our society.

I am extremely excited to start working at In4All where I would be able to collaborate and learn from a team of fellow passionate and intelligent professionals to empower and positively affect today's youth.”

Joshua Phillips

Joshua Phillips, Program Manager

“I have a foundation in education, with experience in K-12 tutoring as well as with STEM focused teaching. With experience planning community events and undertaking research I have gravitated towards work that brings community together. My time working with kids has shown me the power of young people’s capacity for hope an imagination, fueling my own optimism and passion. My goal is to do work that empowers people’s sense of self worth and agency–especially young people.

I was drawn to In4All because the work recognizes and bolsters students' unique self worth. When volunteers show up in the classroom and validate students contributions to lessons, enforce a sense of self-confidence. Secondly, In4All increases scientific literacy in a way that centers personal connection and care. Being knowledgeable about the STEM field is paramount, especially from an early age.

Being in nature, both alone and with people I love, fuels me outside of work. I love playing music (guitar and some piano), and play in a band and alone. I spend some of my time working on climate activism, and organizing peoples shared hope and outrage towards actions that will change things, especially on a local scale.”
